The BRIDGES for Dementia Network+ is bringing together people living with dementia, researchers, designers, health professionals, charities, universities and industry to explore how technology can support people with dementia to live full, independent and connected lives.

People living with dementia and those with lived experience, alongside researchers, health and social care professionals, designers, charities, universities and organisations interested in dementia, technology and innovation.
What?
A national conference exploring how research, technology and co-design can contribute to better everyday lives for people affected by dementia.
BRIDGES brings together expertise from arts, health, social care and technology, with lived experience included in the development of practical solutions.
Why does it matter?
Technology in care should not begin with the technology.
It should begin with people.
This event creates an opportunity for people with lived experience to exchange knowledge directly with researchers and other sectors — including helping researchers think differently about ideas before they become projects, services or products.
For One Social Care, this raises an important wider question about innovation: are we designing things for people, or designing them with people?
