This practical online training course is designed for advisers and professionals who support unpaid carers.
The course covers Carer’s Allowance, the Universal Credit carer element and additional support available through Pension Credit and Housing Benefit. It also considers backdating, underpayments, overpayments and work-related requirements affecting carers.
The half-day course takes place online via Zoom on 24 September 2026, from 10.00am to 1.00pm. The standard price is £135, or £108 for CPAG members.
Welfare rights advisers and other professionals who support unpaid carers and want to improve benefit checks or advise on Carer’s Allowance, Universal Credit, Pension Credit, Housing Benefit, backdating and overpayments.
